Opened in May 2003, the Biotechnology Centre provides start-ups and spin-offs with ideal growth opportunities: customised support and guidance, inexpensive office and laboratory space, shared technical facilities in the 'Technikum' (pilot plant stations), sources of financial assistance and proximity to internationally renowed institutes and big-name companies in the food industry.
